This is a continuation of the film, showing what transpired in the years after the Seneca Falls Convention that led to the dramatic legislation vote giving women in all states the right to vote.
Please join the Wareham Historical Society as we commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the National Women’s Suffrage Movement, which led to the 19th Amendment, granting women the right to vote in 1920. We will be showing segments of the award winning Ken Burns film, “Not For Ourselves Alone”, which premiered on PBS. A brief overview and discussion will follow.
Refreshments will be served after the program. Admission: Members are free, Non-Members: $2.00. For more information, please call Angela M. Dunham, WHS President, 508-295-8578.
