The Wareham Historical Society will proudly present a program celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary of the beginning of the American Revolution.
The American Revolution began with the first shots fired on April 19, 1775 at Lexington and Concord, MA. Colonists wanted independence and rebelled over taxation without representation, The Intolerable Acts and tensions between the colonies and the British were at a breaking point.
Come and learn about the brave Wareham, MA residents, who joined in the American Revolution for freedom!
Costumes and memorabilia will be on display. Please join us and share your memories of past events and parades that celebrated our fight for independence. We look forward to seeing you!
Refreshments will be served after the program.
