The Wareham Historical Society invites the public to view an extensive
scrapbook collection that has been generously donated by Vivian Gallerani.
These scrapbooks were created by Claire McWilliams, first woman to serve on
Wareham’s Selectboard in the 1970s and are time capsules that document life in
Wareham from days past. Mrs. McWilliams was involved in numerous
government and civic organizations, keeping records that provide a window into
our town’s events that began an era of change in our quiet town.
